Week of January 20th

Our chefs are loving this “second season” for Midwest tomatoes with our flavorful Mighty Vine hydroponic tomatoes and we’re still supporting our local farmers with winter produce sales!
SUMMER WISH LIST!
This is our Christmas! Seeds and catalogs are coming in and we’re well underway for planning for the Spring growing season! Make sure we know what you want – what’s on your wish list?
WE’D LOVE TO FEATURE YOU!

Send us the names of dishes you’ve made with our produce and a little blurb about it and we’ll post it on a new page of our site “What Our Chefs Are Cooking Now” (not live yet)! A high-quality photo would also be great, but not necessary (we can post a photo of the vegetable instead).

We would also love to update the “Our Chefs” page – send us any new high-quality photos you have of you at work in the kitchen!

Week of January 13th

Happy New Year!
We’ve hit the ground running in 2019! Our chefs are basking in the “second season” for Midwest tomatoes with our intensely flavorful Mighty Vine hydroponic tomatoes and we’re still supporting our local farmers with winter produce sales – greens, herbs, squash, and roots!

NEW THIS WEEK!

Hedgehog Mushrooms
Named for their teeth-like projections, these wild-harvested mushrooms from Oregon are similar in flavor to the chanterelle.

Yellowfoot Mushrooms
Our wild-harvested Yellowfoot mushrooms from Oregon are delicate and elegant with a yellowish hue.

Orchard Morels
The season is beginning in California’s Central Valley for orchard morels! They are available for order with a 3-day turnaround.

HOT PRICE!
Perigord Truffles
French Perigord truffles are still going strong, and, as we are in between major winter holidays, prices have dropped to $38/oz. This is a great time to stock up and prepare truffle butter and truffle oil!

WISH LIST?
We’re already starting to think about the Spring growing season! Let us know if you have any requests. We are already planning some new items from the Venice region of Italy. What’s on your wish list?
