We pride ourselves on putting in endless energy and time into growing and sourcing the best produce that our customers are proud to put into a dish.
Our clients love us because we are the only provider in St. Louis with red, ripe and ultra-flavorful tomatoes any time of year. Their customers recognize the quality of tomatoes and other produce we bring to them. Many clients tell us that their customers come back to their businesses and waiters have said that their gratuities increase because of our tomatoes.
We are Tony’s Family Farms, a company dedicated to delivering hyper-fresh, mouth-watering delicious produce year-round, rain or shine. Our business began when Mr. Fortune, a man who grew up in the fertile Missouri River Bottom, gifted our family with a small field to grow our own vegetables in the summers so that we could save a few pennies and eat healthier. When a professional chef suggested that we could bring our produce to establishments in the area, we seized the opportunity to expand.
We started out small, but have seen major growth over the past few years. We now deliver thousands of pounds of fruits, vegetables and herbs to dozens of professional kitchens in the St. Louis area.
Our produce is sourced from not only our land, but from many like-minded farmers in the Midwest.
TONY WHITE, FOUNDER
Tony White is a well-established, lauded businessman in St. Louis. He is currently the founder and CEO of Tony’s Family Farms based in Chesterfield, delivering thousands of pounds of hyper-fresh, mouth-watering produce year-round to chefs and workplaces in the St. Louis area.
Prior to this, Tony’s career as a results-driven visionary executive took him across the country to New York, Atlanta, Phoenix and throughout California. His 20-year track record in business development and strategic sales has catalyzed change and driven market share in multi-million dollar media companies spanning the digital and telephone advertising industry.
Tony currently serves on the Chesterfield Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. He served on the West St. Louis County Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and Executive Directors from 2013 – 2015.
JOHN KILLINGSWORTH, DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS & SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT
John Killingsworth manages operational and supply-chain efficiency for our team. He also enjoys visiting local farming communities and nurturing relationships with the farmers and their families that grow product for Tony’s Family Farms.
John is an entrepreneur and currently runs several businesses as well as market analysis on local menu ingredients for clients across the St. Louis area. He has traveled the globe extensively as the Global Director of Operations for a manufacturing company based out of New York and has been exposed to tastes and flavors all over the world.
STEVE BREWER, TERRITORY MANAGER
After graduating from the CIA in November of 2000, Stephen Brewer returned to his hometown of St. Louis to begin a career as a chef. He worked in several restaurants before landing a position at the much-lauded Annie Gunn’s where he spent the next 13 years. He worked his way through the kitchen and was eventually named sous-chef in charge of receiving where he began cultivating relationships with area farmers and purveyors.
Stephen found he was developing a new passion for finding the best products available and bringing them to the kitchen and, with the growing demand for fresh produce and to support local farmers, he decided to shift careers. He had met Tony White through his work at Annie Gunn’s and knew they shared the same vision and decided to join the Tony’s Family Farms team.
KRISTEN HALL, BOOKKEEPER
During her nine years with a local textile company, Kristen Hall oversaw the sales and marketing department that resulted in a sales increase of 40% in three years. Before this role, Kristen worked in the hospitality industry, ranging from bartending in Soulard to fine dining and catering management. She currently manages all accounts payable and receivable for Tony’s Family Farms.
SARA GRAHAM, CONTENT AND WEBSITE MANAGER
As both a designer and a writer for EngageTaste, Sara Graham is able to create not just the visual experience, but also to capture the unique story of her clients. In this way, she is able to set them apart by showcasing their passion and personality in order to connect with their audience. She helps her clients engage with their customers and show them they are catered to.
Sara is a design and content workhouse, but she also acts as a coach, taking inspiration from her clients’ visions and successes and fashioning a marketing strategy tailored for today’s aesthetics- and authenticity-driven environment. She helps her clients understand their target audience, express their business through design and define a desired return on investment.
Sara is also a contributing writer with the Riverfront Times a member of the St. Louis Green Dining Alliance Task Force.
MICHAEL RANDMAN, PHOTOGRAPHER
Michael Randman is a simple man who loves making photographs.
He resides in Marthasville, Missouri with his family and is originally from St. Louis, Missouri.
Michael attended the University of Missouri St. Louis where he got his Bachelor of Fine Arts in photography.
Clients of his range from bands, families, and corporate businesses.
His style and approach is simple, bold, and true.
