FARM FRESH PASTURE RAISED CHICKENS, NEVER FROZEN
These true, free range Cornish cross chickens come to you from the gentle rolling hills of Central Missouri, just north of the Ozarks, where they are raised on green grass, sunshine and fresh air. This is our fifth season working with this grower and what a wonderful find.
Delivered to Columbia, Missouri, St. Charles, Missouri, St. Louis, Missouri, & the Metro East – Belleville, Illinois, O’Fallon, Illinois.
Our chickens are the only ones you can find locally that are fed on a whole grain diet, with non GMO feed that is grown conventionally. There is nobody else that does this.
NO antibiotics, NO steroids, NO growth hormones.
We are only as healthy as our last breath of air, and the same goes for our chickens. Don’t be fooled by other “free-range” labeled birds. Most of them live their whole life stepping on litter, breathing in ammonia and never leaving the barn.

FARM FRESH EGGS
Premium, cage free, farm fresh, brown eggs regionally raised.
Our cage free eggs have a darker, richer, golden yolk because the birds enjoy grass, grains and freedom! These brown eggs taste way better than white eggs. Don’t take our word for it. Try a delicious freshly hatched egg and let your taste buds be the judge.
No one can beat our price & quality! The best color, consistency, texture and taste.

$4.50 per carton (produce box add-on)
Availability: Every 2 weeks.
Update Feb. 19, 2025 – We are aware of the issues going on with available eggs. We rotate our birds out every 14 months and our supply is steady but need a few more weeks (March 10th) until our hens are back to full production. From the time eggs hatch to full production its a six month window. Therefore we expect this shortage of egg laying chickens to last awhile for consumers nationwide. We feel your pain and will continue to do everything in our power to keep egg prices fair.
LIVE BACKYARD CHICKENS FOR EGGS
Do you have a homestead, children who are homeschooled or are considering raising chickens in your backyard? If so, we have just made your life easier! Our team produces quality eggs that St Louis metro restaurants and families buy from us. Every 14 months we rotate out our flock that is producing eggs at the rate of 90%. These birds then become available for re-homing, and are only available twice a year. We suggest getting on our wait list to buy our egg laying hens!
By giving these hens a second chance, you’re providing them with quality of life. This act of rescue is a humane alternative to practices found in factory farming and can be personally rewarding. This opportunity aligns with our ethical farming and sustainability practices.
Integrating 14 month old hens into your backyard flock can be a practical and fulfilling choice, offering continued egg production, cost savings and additional benefits to your homestead.
Pricing for our seasoned layers will run $12-15 depending on quantity and delivery location.
